Substance Painter: Two Methods Creating Tiling/Seamless Textures & Then Export Them (Step-by-Step)
Tiling is a method of repeating a texture horizontally and vertically to cover large geometry surfaces. Tiling textures are ideal for walls, floors, ceilings, landscapes or any continuous large surface. You can create seamless, tiling textures right inside Substance Painter and there are two methods you can use to do so.

Absolute legend! I don't even know why that key shortcut even exists, as it seems more like an annoyance than something actually helpful.

For some reason when I do this it just makes my landscape SUPER bright and doesn't display any variation at all.

I like your vidios bro, i have obj Model and mtl material but substance painter open obj Model but can not locate material, both files are on desktop
In Substance Painter is where you create the materials, not import them. So mtl file types aren't going to be brought in with your obj or fbx models.

Cool ! but what if I cannot create the "contrast": My game is about a zombie virus outbreak, but the gamestyle (and my resources) does not allow or have space for showing the world before the virus outbreak. I do use the "unknown" principle as every location might be a death trap and the player is forced to explore in order to survive (can even choose from multiple paths to reach the same location). I also use the "isolation" principle, as locations are abandoned, the player being the only survivor.... but how to create contrast? maybe some parts of the map can show some "normality" and sensation of safety, to later transform into a dangerous zone (let's say, when you enter the hospital, the lobby and and first rooms look normal, but the other floors and basement are chaos and death?). Please let me know your thoughts, thank you in advance!
